Midnight Frost Bitter Frost #5 of The Frost Series eBook Kailin Gow Reviews
I absolutely loved this book. After ending so abruptly with Frost Kisses I was left wanting more. Where Kailin Gow picks up it is intense from beginning to end. Breena still has a long battle ahead of her at the beginning of this story. She learns that she battle many wicked things in order to create peace throughout the winter and summer faries. What will she have to sacrifice in order to bring peace?
I love the scenery that Gow creates in these books. The characters are so passionate in what they believe in. Once again Kailin Gow did a magnificant job with this book. I can't wait to read Fire Frost! I cried a little in this book for the sacrifices made with some of the characters.
Seems like just when u think things are coming to an end a super twist comes and changes everything and keeps ya wanting more.
This story is so interesting that you can not put it down. When I get to the end it is like "OH NO It IS OVER, WHAT IS NEXT!"
This series HAD ME HOOKED!
Be prepared to buy all of them lol, you just have to know what happens next!!!

I love these books there awso me in on to the next one I just need the last 2 can't weight to read them
Although I love Kailin Gow, I feel like after reading Midnight Frost I can't possibly imagine what is left to read about in Fire Frost due out in December! Bree, Kian, Logan, Delano, and all the other characters we have grown to love or love to hate have all played a big role in the war against a common evil. Bree FINALLY makes a choice between the men involved in her romantic debacle and we say goodbye to someone we have grown used to reading about!!! I am not sure how I feel about Bree's decision on her love interest because I am a fan of both Kian and Logan, but I feel like even though she always says she is sure "this time" she still lets her doubts resurface hence reigniting the love triangle that Kailin Gow is so well known for!!! I will read Fire Frost mainly because I feel like I have journeyed this far with these characters and also because I am dying to see whats left to write about!! Maybe more intimacy and confidence in their relationship maybe??? We shall SEE ;)
I am quite new to the Frost series, having only picked it up a couple of weeks ago. I was thrilled to finish reading Frost Kisses only a few days before Midnight Frost was released so I was primed and ready to go. There were many thinks I liked about the book

The storyline is excellent for this one the war, the journey, and the legend of the Midnight Night were excellent, and seemed much more mature than some of the previous stories in the series.
I thoroughly enjoyed Redleaf and the story of the Dark Hordes in this book. It was the conclusion to this story that I had felt was missing before.
I also felt that the groundwork was beautifully laid for the continuing story after the war, with the quest of Shasta et al promising to be very interesting.

However I can't quite give it five stars because one aspect of it bugged me. I understand that a great part of these books was the triangle between Breena, Kian and Logan. But I dont' like the fact that she was with both of them again in this book. It seems a lot like having one's cake and eating it too. I thought she had made the choice in Frost Kisses, and sometimes taking the harder path is the more noble thing to do than giving in all the time. It was a bit of a cop out for me.
Having said that, It was still a great read, and an excellent addition to the series.
